Nashua woman arrested for holding butcher knife and grabbing boyfriend's neck, police say

NASHUA - Police arrested a woman for getting into an argument with her boyfriend and then allegedly holding a butcher knife up to him on Sunday night.

Police responded to 74 Kinsley St. and arrested 48-year-old, Lorri Drew after getting reports of a verbal argument that turned physical.

Police said Drew's boyfriend reported that Drew held a butcher knife up to him and also grabbed him by the neck.

Drew was charged with one count of criminal threatening and one count of domestic violence - both Class B felonies - and simple assault and domestic violence - Class A misdemeanors.

Each Class B felony punishable up to seven years in state a prison, and each Class A misdemeanor punishable up to one year in county jail.

Drew is being held on $2,000 cash or surety bail and was scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
