Nashua's Spit Brook Road fire station to undergo renovations
NASHUA - A South Nashua fire station may not be up to current standards, but a new plan has been made for updates.
Renovations of the Spit Brook Road fire station include building a third bay, new roof and more space for equipment management.
A bill has been proposed for the city to borrow anywhere up to $1.65 million to fund the project.
The bill is headed to the full board on Tuesday and to be reviewed by the committee.
The project has been in the works since at least 2009.
