Nashua's Harbor Homes wants public's help to identify homeless vets
NASHUA - A downtown agency that helps military veterans is asking for help from the public to identify those who remain homeless in the region.
According to The Telegraph of Nashua, Harbor Homes wants to locate men and women who have served in the armed forces and need housing. The goal is to get all veterans into safe housing.
Harbor Homes is participating in a comprehensive campaign to seek out and identify unsheltered veterans. Officials say both the private sector and the general public can play a crucial role in ending veteran homelessness.
Harbor Homes is a member of the Partnership for Successful Living and provides affordable housing, job training and supportive services to those in need, including more than 100 homeless veterans over the past decade.
