Nashua riverwalk could potentially be rennovated
NASHUA — One of the cities biggest assets is the river, and officials are now considering a proposal that would highlight that, according to The Union Leader.
Mayor Jim Donchess, is recommending that $500,000 in the cities unexpected revenue to be used to create walkways and pedestrian bridges along the riverfront area.
According to the paper, residents have been asking for better river access for years and this week the mayor introduced his proposal to the Board of Aldermen to establish an expendable trust fund.
The proposal will be considered by the board.
