Nashua police officer Keith Trombly dies after bike accident in Pelham

The N.H. Attorney General announced the name and cause of death of a Nashua police officer Thursday night after police responded to a 9-1-1 call Wednesday night.

Keith Trombley, 25-years-old, attempted to ride a bicycle down a set of stairs after a cookout at the Pelham address. Trombley fell and hit his head on a concrete floor. He was transported to a hospital and an autopsy showed he died of force trauma.

“He was a key member of a very close squad of young officers here at Nashua police department and I can assure Keith’s family that they will always be a part of the NPD family,” said Police Chief Andrew Lavoie.

“I'd like to let the people of Nashua know they lost an outstanding officer and outstanding young man,” said Chief Lavoie.
