Nashua police: Man faces slew of charges, up to 31 years in prison after trying to rob Wendy's

Nashua police have charged a man with pulling a gun out at a Wendy's on 44 East Hollis Street employee and demanded cash before fleeing the area on foot.

Jose Batista-Salva, 29, is suspected of having committed the crime, and later asking a witness not to implicate him via a telephone call.

After obtaining a search warrant for Batista-Salva's home, they were able to arrest him without incident.

At the time of Batista-Salva’s arrest, police said he had 2 juveniles in his custody and appeared to be under the influence of a controlled drug.

Police also said they found the gun he used.

Batista-Salva faces up to 31 years in prison.
