Nashua police: Man charged with 2nd-degree assault after punching, strangling family member

NASHUA - Police responded to a report of domestic assault at a Nashua motel early Thursday morning.

A man called and said he was assaulted by a family member.

After arriving, police spoke with the victim who reported Robert Scott, 27, strangled, punched and pushed him.

Scott, with no fixed address, was charged with second-degree assault and multiple counts of domestic violence.

Scott was held on $2,500 cash bail and will be arraigned on Jan. 8. in Nashua.
