Nashua police locate driver of truck who hit woman next to snowbank


NASHUA - Police said a delivery truck driver hit a woman and then drove off Wednesday morning.

Police responded to the area of CVS Pharmacy at 242 Main St. around 8:52 a.m. for a woman lying on the ground who had been hit by a vehicle.

According to witnesses, a delivery truck hit the woman as it was leaving the parking lot. She had serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police found the delivery truck a short distance from the scene of the accident, and the driver is fully cooperating with the investigation.

At this time, there are no pending criminal charges but the accident remains under investigation, police said.
