Nashua police charge Manchester man with sexually assaulting a minor

NASHUA – Police charged a Manchester man with sexually assaulting a girl he knew who was under the age of 13. Nashua police arrested Santos Cerritos, age 51, of 66 Ward Street, Manchester, on Monday after an investigation by the department’s Special Investigations Division, police said. Cerritos was charged with two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault. The same day, a juvenile female known to Cerritos reported to Nashua police that she had been sexually assaulted by him, police said. As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued charging Cerritos with the two felonies, each punishable by seven to fifteen years in prison. Cerritos was being held at the Nashua Police Department on $100,000 cash only bail pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit-District Division-Nashua Court Tuesday.
