Nashua police arrest man for failing to register as sex offender after 1996 conviction

NASHUA - Police arrested a man who failed to register as a sex offender before moving to Nashua.

Stephen Gill was convicted of felonious sexual assault, a Class A felony, by the Merrimack County Superior in 1996.

Detectives soon discovered that Gill had failed to obey the terms of his conviction, and put out a warrant for his arrest.

Gill was released on $5,000 bail with an arraignment scheduled for June.
