Nashua officer honored as Officer of the Year


NASHUA - Police honored officer Don Weiss as the 2014 Nashua Police Officer of the Year on Wednesday. The ceremony was held at the Nashua Country Club.

Weiss has been with Nashua Police Department for three years. Weiss was honored for his "his outstanding work ethic and strong commitment to keeping Nashua a safe city."

Before working for Nashua police, Weiss studied forensics psychology and recieved his bachelor's degree from Southern New Hampshire University. He also spent time serving in the Marine Corps.
