Nashua, NH, man charged with sending lewd pictures to teen on Facebook


NASHUA - A city man has been arrested after interactions with a 15-year-old on Facebook, police said.

Jacob Riggan, 31, of 14 Lovewell Street, Nashua, is accused of sending lewd images to the teen and trying to engage in sexual acts with her, using the social network, police said.

Members of the Nashua Police Department's Special Investigations Division arrested Riggan around 9:16 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014.

The teen's parents contacted police on Aug. 4 after they found the conversations on her Facebook account, police said.

Riggan is charged with certain uses of computer services prohibited, class B felony.

A class B felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines.

Riggan is being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections on $100,000 cash or surety bail pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court on Oct. 6, 2014.
