Nashua man who fled after shooting friend in basement has turned himself in
NASHUA – According to police, a 22-year-old Nashua resident fled his residence after accidentally shooting his friend Saturday.
Michael McNulty was in his basement with friends handling a loaded gun when the gun discharged and a bullet went through a nearby wall and struck McNulty’s friend standing in the next room.
McNulty was gone when police arrived at 1 B East Dunstable Road. The victim as transported to the hospital.
On Monday, McNulty turned himself into police and was released on cash bail.
He is being charged with reckless conduct.
