Nashua man turns self in after allegedly strangling, threatening woman with knife

NASHUA - A man who allegedly strangled a woman and threatened her with a knife has been charged with domestic violence.

Police say they responded to a reported domestic assault early Sunday morning but that the suspect had fled.

Police issued a warrant for the arrest of Kyle Hope, 23, who was listed without a fixed address in Nashua. Hope subsequently turned himself in to police on March 15.

He faces charges of second-degree assault, criminal threatening, domestic violence and simple assault.

Hope was held on $10,000 cash bail and was scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday in Nashua District Court.
