Nashua man's theft charge bumped up to felony because of prior conviction
NASHUA — A man is facing a felony theft charge after police said he stole a power tool.
Jeffrey Shepard, 34, of Nashua was arrested for his third offense of theft by unauthorized taking on Wednesday.
Following an investigation stemming from the theft of a power tool from Goodeed Electronics on Feb. 24, Shepard was arrested. Because he had two previous theft convictions, the charge was upgraded from a misdemeanor to a felony.
Shepard was held on $3000.00 cash or surety bail pending his arraignment on Thursday.
