Nashua man raising money to help young fan meet NASCAR's Jeff Gordon

NASHUA - A local man and fan of NASCAR's Jeff Gordon is trying to help a young fan with cerebral palsy meet his hero in person.
Joe Bulwin says he runs a group called Jeff Gordon Loyal Followers, and one of his members is Dylan Bauerle, 19, who uses a wheelchair. Bauerle said he's wanted to meet the four-time Sprint Cup champion since he was 5 years old.
"When Jeff announced in January this will be his final year of driving in the race, it just broke my heart because my favorite driver is stepping away from the race car and for good at the end of the season," Bauerle wrote on his Facebook page.
Bulwin said he spent five months making phone calls and exchanging emails to help make Bauerle's dream come true before Gordon retires.
"NASCAR has come through with the passes that we need to get into the garage area, and Jeff Gordon's PR guy knows that Dylan is going to be there," Bulwin said via email. "I have been asked by NASCAR and Dylan's mom to be a liaison for Dylan while at the racetrack."
The problem?
Bulwin would have to fly from New Hampshire from Chicago to meet with Bauerle, who lives in Wisconsin, and accompany him the Chicagoland Speedway.

Bulwin said he has set up a gofundme page to help raise money for the trip.
