Nashua man killed in ski accident at Killington Ski Resort
KILLINGTON, VT - Vermont State Police said a N.H. man has died after losing control and crashing into multiple trees at Killington Ski Resort.
Authorities say Terrence Scott, 23, of Nashua, was skiing the High Road Trail around 1:20 p.m. on Saturday with friends and family.
Scott had avoided colliding with another skier and tried to turn on a connecting trail before crashing, police said.
The skier then lost control and struck multiple trees, causing his helmet to come off.
The victim was described as an expert skier by family and friends, and the trail he was skiing down was listed as "intermediate."
He was pronounced dead on scene.
The Vermont Chief Medical Examiner's Office is continuing to investigate.
