NASHUA - A grand jury has indicted a Nashua man on dozens of counts of rape, kidnapping and assault involving beatings, strangulation and an attack with a machete.

According to the December indictments from Hillsborough County South, Anthony Martinez, 23, of 27 Elm St., Apt. C, assaulted his romantic partner repeatedly between May and August of 2015, including smashing a mirror over her head, hitting her with a belt, cutting her with a machete and fracturing her rib.
