Nashua man charged with sexual assault

NASHUA – A city man has been charged with sexually assaulting a girl younger than 16, police said. Corey Anderson, 21, of 57 Robin Hood Road, was arrested Tuesday and charged with felonious sexual assault, a Class B felony, police said. In December, the police department’s Youth Services Division received a report that Anderson had sexually assaulted a girl younger than 16 earlier that month, police said. After an investigation, Anderson was arrested by the department’s Problem Oriented Policing Unit, police said. Anderson was released after posting $2,500 cash or surety bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Nashua district court, police said. The Class B felony is punishable by 31? 2 to seven years in State Prison plus fines. – PATRICK MEIGHAN
