MANCHESTER - A Nashua man has been arrested in connection with a Wednesday home break-in and attempted kidnapping.
Willy Valentin, 29, is charged with robbery and kidnapping - both felonies. He was arrested by North Andover, Mass., police and is awaiting extradition to New Hampshire.
Police responded to 255 Douglas St. around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, when a man said three Hispanic males held him at knifepoint in his home while taking items.
The victim told police that during the course of the struggle, he was able to break free and the men started to flee. One of the suspects allegedly grabbed a 2-year-old child and attempted to place the child in a vehicle, police said.
The father of the child told police he fought with the man identified at Valentin and took his child back.
The investigation is ongoing.
