Nashua man arrested for strangling woman

NASHUA - Johnathan Lozada was arrested Friday on several charges. Police say the 25 year-old strangled a women whom he knew. The victim sustained minor injuries.

Lozada was charged with domestic violence-second-degree assault, a class B felony, as well as two counts of domestic violence-simple assault, one count of domestic violence-criminal threatening, one count of theft, and one count of resisting arrest, all class A misdemeanors.

He is being held at the Nashua Police Department on $12,000 cash bail.

His arraignment is scheduled for today.
