Nashua man arrested for robbery at the city's bike trail


NASHUA — Andrew Pike, 22, was arrested by police on Thursday for allegedly committing a robbery.

Officials responded to the intersection of Main and Canal Streets for a report of a robbery that happened on the bike trail behind the Nashua Library.

The victim reported that he had been assaulted and had his cell phone and other personal items taken from him. He was treated at St. Joseph's Hospital for his injuries as a result.

The victim provided a description of the suspect to officers and they were able to find him in the vicinity.

Pike was taken into custody and charged with robbery. If convicted, he could face up to seven years in state prison.
