NASHUA — Nashua police arrested a man Wednesday after learning he failed to register with the New Hampshire Sex Offender Registry on time.
Andrew Pike, 23, was convicted of sexual assault in Hillsborough County Superior Court - North in July 2014. Based on that conviction, Pike is required to register bi-annually as a Tier II Sex Offender for the remainder of his life.
During a routine compliance check, Nashua police determined that Pike failed to register on time in February and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
Pike refused bail and is being held at Valley Street Jail pending his arraignment at the Nashua district court May 4.
Information on non-compliant sex offenders who reside in Nashua can be reported to the police department at (603) 594-3500.
