Nashua man arrested for assaulting juvenile, threatening him with knife outside school

NASHUA - A 37-year-old man was charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting a juvenile several times and threatening him with a knife.

Police responding to a report of criminal threatening at a local school late Friday night arrested Eric Bernard, 37, on several charges of domestic violence, criminal threatening, simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

The victim told police Bernard assaulted him several times and threatened him with a knife. The victim did not suffer any injuries, police said.

Bernard was released on $5,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
