Nashua jiu jitsu instructor found guilty on 12 accounts of sexual abuse
NASHUA - Aldo Batista dos Santos, a jiu jitsu instructor in Nashua, was found guilty of two counts of felonous sexual assault and ten counts of misdemeanor-level sexual assault against a teenage girl in Hillsborough County Superior Court South on Monday, according to Dean Shalhoup's report in the Nashua Telegraph.
dos Santos is the owner of ABC Brazillian jiu jitsu on Northeastern Boulevard in Nashua, where he met the girl he victimized when she began taking jiu jitsu classes in 2012, according to the Nashua Telegraph.
This was the second trial for dos Santos regarding his alleged sexual assault crimes. Shalhoup stated in his report with the Nashua Telegraph that the first trial took place in Aug. but was declared a mistrial due to an outburst by one of the victim's relatives.
A sentencing date has yet to be set.
