Nashua hair salon plans to provide free haircut coupons to the homeless
NASHUA - Buy one, give one free. The Hair Cuttery is offering an unusual two-for-one deal to help the homeless on Feb. 1-2.
For every customer who comes for a haircut on those days, the shop will donate a coupon for a free haircut to a homeless person, according to the Telegraph of Nashua.
"Haircuts may seem like a simple thing to us, but physical impression is extremely important for both that person and for people looking in," said Tom Lopez, Ward 4 alderman and employment education advocate at the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter.
The Hair Cuttery will work with local shelters to distribute the coupons to those in need.
