Nashua fire officials to conduct controlled fire

NASHUA - Fire officials in Nashua will be conducting a controlled burn on West Hollis Street this week.

Wednesday through Friday, firefighters will create a small room fire in order to train five probationary firefighters.

According to the Nashua Telegraph, the home at 959 W. Hollis St. formerly belonged to the Emmons family but is currently owned by Jensen Communities.

Nashua Fire Rescue crews will monitor the location over the weekend and the complex will be destroyed at the end of the training.
