Nashua dog rescued after falling in 8 foot deep dry well

NASHUA—A dog was rescued from a 8-10 foot deep well, Saturday night.
The Nashua Fire Department got a call reporting that a dog had fallen into a dry well around 8:30 p.m.

A short ladder was placed into the well and a firefighter was able to climb into the well and lift the dog out to the other crew members.
The dog was surprisingly unhurt from the fall and reunited with its owner.
Nashua Fire Rescue wants to remind everyone to make sure underground dry wells or holes are securely covered to prevent the possibility of people or pets from falling in.
