Nashua cruiser struck by hit-and-run driver

NASHUA - A Nashua Police cruiser was struck by a hit-and-run driver during a traffic stop on Greenbriar Terrace Friday night. The officer was not injured.

The incident happened at midnight. Police said a black vehicle, either a Toyota or Honda, drove by and struck the door as the officer was exiting his cruiser. The vehicle initially pulled over, but took off as the officer approached.

Police say a blue SUV was following the car that hit the cruiser. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has information on either vehicle to contact the department at (603) 589-1665.
