Nashua continues to try to dig out from the storm

NASHUA - When the blizzard struck last week, Nashua was labeled the jackpot city after receiving the most snow in the state.

Those numbers continue to grow as the snow continued to pile up throughout Monday.

The city of Nashua is still digging out from last weeks blizzard - and now with almost another 10 inches, officials say the spot where they normally truck inner city snow - is running out of space.

The Nashua Streets Department told NH1 News they can keep up with about 1 inch per hour, but more than that - is too much - despite having their entire fleet - 70 pieces of equipment on the roads.

Nashua declared a 24-hour parking ban that will last until 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The ban is to keep city streets clear so plows can do their job.
