Nashua Child Dies, Investigation Underway
NASHUA - A 3-year-old girl from Nashua has died after being rushed to a hospital.
In a news release late Tuesday night, The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office and Nashua Police Chief announced that an investigation is ongoing in Nashua.
Investigators said that at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, the Nashua Police Department responded to a home at 14 Oak Street in Nashua for a medical call involving a 3-year-old female child, who was a resident in the home. That child was taken to the hospital and declared deceased a short time later.
The circumstances that led to the child's death are suspicious and are under investigation. As part of the investigation, the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy on the child on Wednesday to try and determine the cause and manner of death.
No further news releases are expected until possibly late Wednesday.
