Nashua business evacuated when falling ice strikes gas meter

NASHUA - Quality Insulation had to be evacuated for a brief time Friday afternoon after falling ice broke a gas meter.

When fire crews arrived on scene at 110 Perimeter Road, they found about 15 feet of snow covering the spot where the leak was.

According to Liberty Utilities, 21 people had to be removed from the facility but were able to go back inside once the leak was secured.

Crews are on the scene working to repair the meter.
