NASCAR fans flock to New Hampshire Motor Speedway

LOUDON — Thousands of fans are expected to flood the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon for NH Race Weekend. NASCAR fans are excited to see all of their favorite drivers face-off, but some are disappointed to hear Dale Earndhardt Jr. cannot compete this weekend due to concussion-like symptoms.

Fans are still excited for a weekend full of camping, tailgating, and everything else the weekend has to offer. It's something fans look forward to all year and make an annual tradition out of it.

"This is our eighth year, we're called 'NASCAR Summer' we come every year and have a blast," said Ryan Hedgeman of Rye.

"You get some beverages flowing, some good times flowing, good friends, it's a good time," said Paul Zeller of Boston.

"I like the crowds, just everyone hanging out, everyone's having a beer having a good time," said Ryan Connell of Boston.

Race weekend continues through Sunday.
