NASA image shows Asia pollution causing harsher winter weather in U.S.
Tired of shoveling snow? You may just have Asia to blame for that.
NASA released a video claiming it shows how pollution from ASIA is changing weather and climate patterns around the entire world.
Delhi and China in particular being tagged as the major contributors with air pollution from smog, ash and aerosols - Beijing with its coal burning and slash and burn practices in agriculture.
NASA theorizes these particulates trap water, and end up generating a lot more energy. This creates ideal storm conditions.
One NASA scientist says he thinks the intensely cold winter the East Coast endured in 2013 could have been driven by frequent storm systems in the Pacific - systems that may not have been if it weren't for Asia's pollution problem.
