Mount Washington gets enough June snow to build snowmen
NORTH CONWAY — It's June 13, but you wouldn't know that by looking at the summit of Mount Washington.
While most of the Granite State has been experiencing temperatures around the 70s, those atop Mount Washington have been getting heavy snow and hurricane-force winds, the Mount Washington Observatory reported via Facebook Sunday.
Despite the winter-like weather, the observatory reports that they expect summer-like weather is around the corner.
