"The journey toward the summit is filled with breathtaking views. The climb is challenging but safe."
Arguably one of the most photographed summit’s in the state, Mt. Monadnock is a Granite State landmark. The 3,165 footer is located in the middle of thousands of acres of protected land. Hiking is allowed year round and depending on the time of year, overnight camping is allowed at the mountain for a small fee. The intermediate hike features views of beautiful other mountains and lakes. Located in Jaffrey, the round trip climb is about 4 miles.
