ALBANY – Mount Chocorua is the easternmost peak of the Sandwich Range in the White Mountain National Forest. Chocorua is a popular peak for Granite Staters and visitors to NH. The 3,490 foot climb is a strenuous climb with rocky sections – but the views are worth it. Piper Trail is about 4.2 miles, Champney Falls Trails gets you to the summit from the north and Liberty Trail travels from the southwest.
"A fabulous 360 degree view for a not that of hard day hike. There is a bit of scramble at the very end. Take a sweater at is windy at the top."
