Motorcyclist injured after crashing into car while making U-Turn in Bedford


BEDFORD — A motorcyclist was injured after crashing into a car in Bedford, police said.

Bedford police responded to the scene of the incident on Sept. 21 at about 6:30 p.m. Upon initial investigation including witness accounts, police determined that Kevin Bartlett, 65 of Weare, was making a U-turn on Route 114 to avoid northbound traffic caused by paving. John Shank, 37 of Weare, was traveling southbound on a motorcycle, and hit the front portion of Bartlett's car.

Both drivers were transported to a local hospital. Shank sustained non-life threatening injuries.
