More than $5,000 raised online, at yard sale for Rochester teen who needs prosthetic leg
ROCHESTER - The family of Alicia Wade said they're overwhelmed at the generousity of the community after they held a yard sale fundraiser on Saturday.
The sale at their home raised more than $1,800.
A GoFundMe page online has also raised another $3,780 and counting.
Wade missed most of her final year of high school when she was diagnosed with sarcoma in October 2014.
After having her leg amputated, she is on her way to being free of cancer.
