More reports of multiple gun shots in Manchester over Memorial Day weekend

MANCHESTER - Police responded to two more reports of multiple gun shots in the city over Memorial Day weekend.

Police said the first report came Saturday near a Queen City Avenue 7-Eleven. A clerk reported she was tending to a customer at 2:14 a.m. when she heard multiple gunshots around the store. She reported seeing two smaller sedans travelling in a westerly direction on Queen City at the time of the shooting. Officers responded and found nine shell casings in the area.

The second incident was reported Monday about 2 a.m. in the area of 253 Spruce St. A resident called to report several shots being fired in the area and several rounds were lodged inside the interior walls of the apartment. Officers entered the apartment and photographed damage inside of the apartment. They also located several shell casings outside of the address.

Detectives are actively investigating both incidents. It is unknown if the calls are related. Information related to the shootings may be forwarded to the Detective Mike Lavallee at 603-792-5514.
