Moose lottery drawing to pick 105 permits for NH hunters

The Associated Press

CONCORD (AP) - It's a big day for moose hunters.

The annual drawing to select 105 hunters who will be offered a permit to hunt moose in New Hampshire this fall is happening Friday morning.

Winners are selected through a computerized random drawing.

The drawing is at the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department in Concord.

The state's nine-day moose hunt this year will take place Oct. 17 - 25.

Last year, more than 10,000 people entered the lottery for the chance to win one of 124 permits.
