Mom whose son was murdered in NH regains a small piece of his memory
LOWELL, Mass. — The mother of a Lowell teen regained a small piece of her deceased son's memory when someone returned a lost necklace he used to wear to her.
Cole Kinney was killed by gunfire in Derry on North Shore Road on July 20. He would have been a senior at Greater Lowell Tech.
Kinney often wore a silver chain with a charm of two boxing gloves on it. He lost the necklace at Hampton Beach on July 4.
Kinney's mother, Kate, reached out online for help finding the necklace.
The search was successful, according to a post from Kate Kinney thanking everyone for the search.
