Missy the Pig back at the NH SPCA and up for adoption after running away from new home

STRATHAM — A 3-year-old pot-bellied pig named "Missy" was dropped off at the New Hampshire SPCA animal adoption center in March, and instantly became a celebrity after a man who happened to be butcher realized that she belonged in a home.

The story seemed to find a happy ending - Missy had dozens of applications to adopt her, and ended up with a Massachusetts family. The family was complete with a pig sibling for Missy, too.

Unfortunately, Missy wasn't getting along with the other pig. She ran away from home.

When her owners located her, they brought her back to the SPCA.

So here's the next chapter in the story of Missy the pig.

She's back up for adoption at the SPCA, and still looking for her forever family.
