Missing NH inmate found and taken back into custody
MANCHESTER — An inmate who walked away from the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit on Lowell Street is back in custody.
Thomas Andrew Ramirez, 24, was given permission to attend an outing, and was instructed to return at 11 p.m. Saturday, which he did not do.
Ramirez was place on walkaway status at 1 a.m. Sunday. He was arrested in Bedford Sunday night and returned to the New Hampshire State Prison in Concord.
Ramirez was sentenced in the Hillsborough County Superior Court in Manchester for 1½ to 3 years in prison for criminal threatening.
