Merrimack man accused of secretly taping young girls now facing sexual assault charges
MERRIMACK — Earlier this month, Thomas Herrmann, 52, was arrested for allegedly videotaping girls while they were showering.
Now additional charges for alleged sexual assault are coming out, according to the Union Leader.
Herrmann was charged with three counts of privacy violation for allegedly installing hidden GoPro cameras in a Merrimack home which he used to videotape two young girls as they undressed and showered.
The new charges were filed on Tuesday, May 24, accusing him of sexually assaulting one of the girls he was videotaping between 2012 and 2013. The girl was 7 and 8 years old at the time.
Herrmann will be arraigned on the new charges on Tuesday, May 31, and will be held on $50,000 cash bail until then.
He was an employee of the Milford Market Basket and has been ordered to stay away there and the home of his alleged victims. Additionally, Herrmann has been ordered to have no unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18.
