Merrimack first responders rescue a man trapped under a 3,000 pound tractor

MERRIMACK - A 3,000-pound utility tractor rolled over onto its side outside a Coles Rock Road home, trapping and injuring the driver underneath.

First responders used high pressure air bags and wooden cribbing to support the overturned tractor and remove the driver, who require advanced life-support treatment before being transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for additional treatment.

Officials said Rescue 1, Engine 2, and nine Merrimack Fire and Rescue personnel all helped to stabilize the tractor and free the victim.
