Mercedes driver flees Manchester crash that sends SUV into building

MANCHESTER- A Wednesday night crash in the Queen City left two people injured and a luxury car missing its driver.
Police arrived at the intersection of Union Street and Spruce Street shortly before 11:00 p.m. Officer Meghan Grant found three people in a 2005 Honda Pilot and an empty 2000 Mercedes Benz.
The force of the crash had propelled the Honda onto the sidewalk and into the building at 373 Union Street, the location of QC Bike Collective.
Witnesses told police the driver of the Benz fled the scene prior to police arriving.
Two of the three persons in the Honda Pilot requested medical attention as a precaution and were taken to local area hospitals.
Police are investigating the crash and are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the Manchester Police Department at 603 668-871 or the Manchester Police Crime Line at 603 624-4040 and provide an anonymous tip.
