Memorial Day weekend plans? Check out what your town is doing to celebrate

Granite Staters will march in parades and participate in other events across N.H. this Memorial Day weekend.

The Union Leader compiled a list of all the Memorial Day weekend events around the state.

Friday

Amherst: 6 p.m. observance on the Town Green with a parade to follow.

Portsmouth: 10:30 flower-laying ceremony at Prescott Park.

Sunday

Bedford: Memorial Day Hometown Parade at 1 p.m. starting on Nashua Road towards McKelvie Intermediate School.

Farmington: Memorial Day Parade and ceremony at 1 p.m. beginning at Pine Grove Cemetery towards The American Legion.

Fremont: Memorial Day parade and ceremony beginning at 8:30 a.m. at town hall and ending at the Village Cemetery.

Greenfield: Memorial Day observance and parade at 11 a.m. at Greenfield State Park followed by an observance at Greenvale Cemetery and a parade starting at Forest Road.

Hooksett: Memorial Day parade at 11:30 a.m. from Lambert Park boat launch, ending with a light meal at the Legion parking lot.

Marlborough: Memorial Day observance and parade from noon - 2 p.m. followed by a service at Pine Grove Cemetery on Granite Street. The parade starts at Frost Free Library.

Piermont: Memorial Day observance at 1 p.m. beginning at River Road Cemetery for wreath ceremony at a veteran's grave.

Seabrook: Memorial Day observance and parade at 9 a.m.at Trinity United Church. A parade will follow with a ceremony at Rand Memorial Congregational Church.

Springfield: Veterans Memorial Service at 10 a.m. at Pleasant View Cemetery. If the weather is bad, the service will be upstairs at the Town Hall and Meeting House on Four Corners Road.

Monday

Antrim: Memorial Day observance and parade at 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. 8 a.m. at American Legion Hall, 8:15 a.m. at North Branch Cemetery, 8:45 a.m. at Maplewood Cemetery, 9:15 at the gym.

Barnstead: Annual Memorial Day parade at 1 p.m. followed by an observance at the American Legion.

Barrington: Memorial Day parade at 6 p.m., starting at the public safety complex.

Bow: Memorial Day ceremony/Remembrance & cookout at 4:15 p.m.

Brentwood: Memorial Day observance at 8 a.m. at Tonry Cemetery followed by a community pancake breakfast.

Campton: Memorial Day observance at 9 a.m. at Blair Cemetery.

Canaan: Memorial Day Parade and Observation at 9 a.m. at the Green.

Candia: American Legion Memorial Day observance at 11 a.m. The Civil War soldier's monument at Four Corners.

Canterbury: Memorial Day observance and parade at 10 a.m. beginning down the hill from the elementary school.

Center Harbor: Memorial Day parade and ceremony at noon beginning at Chase Circle.

Chatham: Memorial Day observance and parade at 10 a.m., beginning at Veterans Field Road.

Chichester: Memorial Day observance at 2 p.m. at the Grange/Town Hall.

Concord: Memorial Day parade at 9 a.m., starting and the Capitol Shopping Plaza on Storrs Street.

Derry: Memorial Day parade and ceremony at 11 a.m., starting at Hood Commons on Crystal Avenue.

Dover: Memorial Day ceremony at 6 p.m. in the veterans' section of Pine Hill Cemetery.

Durham: 69th Annual Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m., starting at Mill Pond Road.

Enfield: Memorial Day parade at 10 a.m. on 19 Main Street.

Epping: Memorial Day parade at 10 a.m., starting at the American Legion.

Exeter: Memorial Day parade at 10:30 a.m., beginning at Swansey Parkway.

Goffstown: Memorial Day parade and ceremony at 8:30 a.m. starting at the high school.

Greenland: Memorial Day parade at 10 a.m., starting at the town hall heading towards the town green.

Groveton: Memorial Day parade at 9 a.m., starting at Baches Convenience Store.

Hampstead: Memorial Day observance at 11 a.m. at the bandstand behind town offices.

Hampton, Hampton Falls and North Hampton: 8 a.m. at Hampton Beach, 9 a.m. at the Common at Hampton Falls and 10 a.m. a small parade at the North Hampton Town Hall.

Hancock: Memorial Day Parade at 2 p.m. on School Street.

Henniker: Memorial Day parade at 10 a.m., starting at Henniker Community School.

Hinsdale: Memorial Day parade at 10 a.m. along main street.

Hollis: Memorial Day ceremony at 2 p.m., beginning at Memorial Park.

Hopkinton/Contoocook: Memorial Day parade at 10 a.m., starting at Harold Martin School on Main Street.

Hudson: Memorial Day parade at 2 p.m., starting in the Hannaford parking lot.

Kingston: Memorial Day parade at 1 p.m., starting at Town Hall.

Laconia: Memorial Day parade and service at 10 a.m. through downtown.

Lee: Memorial Day parade and ceremony at 1 p.m. starting at town hall.

Littleton: Memorial Day parade lines up at 10:30 a.m. at the fire station.

Madison: Annual Memorial Day parade at 10 a.m. going west on Boston Post Road.

Manchester: Memorial Day parade at 2 p.m. along Elm Street.

Merrimack: Memorial Day parade at 11 a.m. beginning at Rite Aid Plaza.

Milton: Memorial Day parade at 10 a.m. starting at the American Legion on Steeple Street.

Moultonborough: Memorial Day parade and ceremony at 10 a.m., starting at Blake Road.

Newmarket: Memorial Day parade at 11 a.m. on Main Street.

Newton: Memorial Day parade and ceremony at 10 a.m., starting at the fire station.

Northwood: Memorial Day parade at 10 a.m. starting at Coe-Brown Academy.

Raymond: Memorial Day remembrance Service and parade at 10 a.m., starting on Main Street.

Rindge: Memorial Day picnic, parade and ceremony at noon on the common.

Rindge: Cathedral of the Pines Memorial Day Service at 4 p.m. at 10 Hale Hill Road.

Rye: Memorial Day ceremony and parade at 9 a.m. at Central Cemetery.

Salem: Memorial Day ceremony and parade at 10 a.m., starting at Pine Grove Cemetery.

Sandown: Memorial Day parade at noon at the Sandown Depot.

Sandwich: Memorial Day Breakfast at 1:45 a.m. at Central School.

Somersworth: Memorial Day services at 9:10 a.m. at each cemetery in town.

Stark: Memorial Day ceremony at 10 a.m. at Start Village School.

Strafford: Memorial Day parade and ceremony at 11:30 a.m., starting at Beaver Dam Estates.

Swanzey: Memorial Day parade and ceremonies at 2 p.m., starting at Cutler School.

Warner: Memorial Day ceremony and parade at 8:45 a.m. at Kearsarge Regional High School.

Windsor: Memorial Day ceremony and parade at 8 a.m. at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Wolfeboro: Memorial Day Parade and Observance at 10 a.m., starting at Brewster Memorial Field.
