Every year thousands of people travel to the Granite State to celebrate Memorial Day weekend and the numbers show this summer could set tourism records.
There were a total of 302,927 cars on the NH turnpike system on Monday May 25th - that’s a 1.6 percent increase from 2014.
If you noticed more people on the road this past weekend you’re right. Travel was up 4.8 percent from 2014.
Hampton beach saw a 7.4 percent uptick in visitors from 2014. 342,305 people went to the beach compared to 318,612 in 2014.
