Melissa Crews resigned from the Board of Directors of Hope for NH Recovery earlier this week.

The President and CEO of Hope for NH Recovery, an addiction and recovery nonprofit organization, confirmed the resignation on Thursday according to the Union Leader.

The president was not aware of the reasons, if any, as to why Crews resigned.

Crews recently appeared in a 30-second television ad that blames Governor Maggie Hassan for the rising number of drug-related deaths in NH, which has caused uproar with some Hope board members and supporters of Gov. Hassan's campaign for Senate.
